Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in both the Vail Commons Deed Restriction and the Town of Vail Housing Guidelines. These requirements determine who can purchase the home and set a Maximum Sales Price, helping to ensure the home remains affordable for the long term. This property is subject to a Price Capped Deed Restriction, which limits annual appreciation to 3%. The home must be owner-occupied by a qualified resident, as defined by the Town of Vail Housing Guidelines.

The Homebuyer Selection Lottery will take place on Friday, August 22, at 12:00 PM in the Vail Town Council Chambers. This event will be offered in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join either in person or virtually via Zoom. Participants do not need to be present at the lottery to win.

The list of qualified applicants and their tickets will be posted at vail.gov/currentlistings two days before the lottery. The results and drawing order will be posted on the same page in the afternoon of the lottery.
